This is a fishing event for Cub Scout aged youth (Kindergarten through 5th grade) to kick off the new Cub Scouting year! The lake is stocked with extra fish just for this event!

All are welcome to attend and participate, but only K-5th graders will be eligible for prizes and patches.  All participants must follow rules.

Registration is $10 for each K-5th aged youth to attend. 
There is no cost to attend for those outside of this age group, but they will be ineligible for the patch and prizes.

 

Beltloop times: 8AM, 9AM, 10AM and 11AM

For participants we will have a prize* for: 

• Longest Catch

• Weirdest Catch

• Most caught

• Each rank/grade group, K-5

 

*Only youth grade K-5th eligible for prizes

Rules: 

• Max of 1 pole per person

• All participants must follow Texas Parks and Wildlife Laws

• To be eligible for prizes, catches must be measured and photographed by staff to be eligible.

• Bank fishing ONLY, NO trotts, NO boats, and NO kayaks.

• NO sinkers inside fish, Chumming IS allowed.

• Fishing License Required for anyone aged 17 or older
