Are you are all signed up for camp already and looking for the next step in
the planning of your summer adventure?
Checkout the Gearing Up for Summer Camp page for more information.
  • Camp Tres Ritos - is a top notch high-altitude facility located in the mountains of northern New Mexico. Hosting no more than 200 campers per week, Tres Ritos provides a friendly and personal unit-oriented experience that many large camps can't offer. This primitive camp offers Scouts the opportunity to hone their Scout skills while cooking all their own meals over an open fire. Pecos Packers offer an extra challenge for Troops looking for a guided back country adventure. These Troops and Crews traverse the remote Pecos wilderness for their week at camp.
  • C.W. Post Memorial Scout Ranch - is 600 pristine acres of West Texas just off the Caprock. Located just miles from the historic town of Post and 45 miles southeast of Lubbock. Camp Post is a year-round facility that hosts a variety of Cub Scout and Boys Scout activities, a high ropes course and horseback riding in the summer. Scouts at Post can focus on merit badges in this old West themed camp complete with a full service kitchen.
With Summer Camp fast upon us, be sure to reserve your space. Our Summer Leader guides are nearing completion. Merit Badge Signup sheets, staff applications and more are available now on our Forms and Resources page.

Camping is an essential part of Scouting. Scouts love being in a special group of friends. Camping gives them the opportunity to live, eat, sleep, work and play together with their Scout “group” doing positive things and cementing friendships that can last a lifetime.

Our Council operates two summer camps at Camp C.W. Post, Texas and Camp Tres Ritos, New Mexico in addition to the opportunities below.  Check out the videos on those pages for a first-hand look! Also see our guide to Summer Camp Preparation and Resources
