Scouting Programs and more for the entire community!
The South Plains Council offers a great variety of programs that get the entire community involved.
Today, it's more than just troop and den meetings. We're constantly moving with camping, high adventure, and tons of great opportunity to get out into the community.
Our programs span the range from early youth through young adults, and offer many opportunities for leaders. We at the Council and the BSA in general offer also a variety of other special programs designed to help everyone get more out of Scouting and to help customize our programs to a wide and diverse set of needs.
As an example of our higher-adventure offerings, check out our COPE Course facility located at Camp Post. The COPE program is a great way for organizations and businesses to work together, binding themselves together with a valuable team-building training experience. The Cub Scout program is geared toward boys and girls ages 7-11. Focused on developing your child's skills and having fun at the same time, the Cub Scout program is a great way to get involved in a rich variety of activities.
The Scouts BSA program is geared for young men and women ages 11-18. Programs are geared around individual growth, character development and activities, and opportunities for advancement and adventure abound.
