The Council has two summer camps with full programs, as described below, in addition to our wilderness campsite at Camp Haynes and the other camping resources in this area. Whether it's Tres Ritos in New Mexico or Camp Post just 45 miles southeast of Lubbock, your Summer Camp experience is going to have great impact.
Hosting no more than 200 campers per week, Tres Ritos provides a friendly and personal unit-oriented experience that many large camps just can't offer.

Pecos Packer
The Pecos Packer program is an outstanding high-adventure backpacking trek that takes Scouts through amazing trails in the New Mexico wilderness.

If you are interested in Staffing Camp Post or Camp Tres Ritos this Summer with the South Plains Council, Please fill out to below application and return it to Davis Fox at the Scout office by email (Davis.Fox@Scouting.org) or Fax (806-747-4942) or by mail or in Person (30 Briercroft Office Park Lubbock, TX 79412). Most interviews will be held Saturday March 9th from 10:00am until 1:00pm at the Scout Office.
